FAQ
Questions we hear most often
Everything you need to know about FlatSe, from setup to security. Can't find your answer? Reach out to us.
General
We are launching first in India and the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar), where apartment-society life is common. However, FlatSe works for any residential community regardless of geography—condominiums, housing estates, gated communities. If you're outside our initial markets, contact us and we'll be happy to discuss onboarding.
FlatSe is a resident-first communication hub for apartment societies. It provides a Digital Notice Board for announcements, an Events & Calendar module with RSVPs, Polls for transparent society decisions, a Complaint/Ticket system for maintenance issues, and a Document Directory for storing society files. Think of it as the digital notice board and help-desk for your flats.
WhatsApp groups mix everything—forwards, personal chats, society notices, complaints—in one chaotic stream. FlatSe separates each type of communication into its own space, ensures important notices stay visible, and provides tools like polls and ticket tracking that WhatsApp simply cannot offer. No forwards, no off-topic messages, no good-morning images.
Compatibility & setup
No, FlatSe is intentionally not a full ERP. It focuses on communication and help-desk functions. If your society already uses software for accounting, gate management, visitor logs, or CCTV, FlatSe works alongside those tools. It fills the gap where ERPs are weakest: keeping residents informed and engaged.
Setup takes under 15 minutes. We create your society space, your committee uploads a list of flats (or enters them manually), and residents join via a unique invite link or QR code. No technical knowledge required, no complex migration.
FlatSe works as a web app accessible from any mobile browser—no app store download required to get started. We will also offer native Android and iOS apps for residents who prefer a dedicated app with push notifications.
Early access & pricing
We're onboarding a limited number of pilot societies during our early access phase. Early adopters get dedicated onboarding support, founding-member pricing (locked in permanently), a direct line to our product team, and the ability to influence what we build next. Fill out the waitlist form or contact us to apply.
We will share pricing individually with interested societies. Early adopters will receive founding-member pricing that will be significantly lower than our eventual public pricing. Our goal is to keep FlatSe affordable for societies of all sizes—50 flats or 400.
No. FlatSe will never show ads to residents. Your society's communication space should be free from marketing noise. Our business model is based on society subscriptions, not advertising revenue.
Data & security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Each society's data is logically isolated—no cross-society data access. We host on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with regular security audits. Your data belongs to your society, and we provide data export facilities if you ever wish to leave.
Absolutely not. All society content is private and visible only to registered members of that specific society. There is no public-facing feed, no discoverability by outsiders, and no data sharing between societies.
