Terms of Service
Rules and guidelines for using the FlatSe platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FlatSe (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including society committees (administrators) and individual residents (members).
2. Description of Service
FlatSe is a communication and helpdesk platform designed for apartment societies. The Platform provides tools for publishing notices, managing events, conducting polls, tracking maintenance complaints, and storing society documents. FlatSe is not an accounting system, security management tool, or full-featured ERP.
3. Eligibility
- AYou must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform.
- BSociety administrator accounts must be created by authorised representatives of a registered Resident Welfare Association (RWA).
- CResident accounts must be associated with a valid flat/unit within a registered society.
4. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant FlatSe a non-exclusive licence to host and display content within your society as necessary to provide the service.
7. Society Administration
Society administrators have the authority to manage members and oversee operations. Administrators are responsible for ensuring that content complies with applicable laws.
8. Service Availability
We strive for high uptime. However, the Platform may experience occasional downtime for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Fees and Payment
FlatSe may introduce subscription fees. Early adopter pricing will be honoured as per specified agreements.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Termination
You may delete your account any time. FlatSe may suspend accounts violating these Terms. Data deletion occurs within 90 days of society account termination.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLATSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

You agree to indemnify FlatSe from any claims arising from your use or violation of these Terms.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms with 30-day notice for material changes.
15. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction: Bangalore, Karnataka.
